Behind the Pages: "Ruby, the Goodest Girl" Comes to Life
Every day with your dog is a gift. Here at Hooray Heroes, we know that very well. Our office is a super dog-friendly place where all of us can bring our furry best friends with us to work. And spending time around dogs, seeing how they make people’s days, we decided it’s time they get a personalized book of their own.

How Did We Do It?
First, we chose the breeds. We wanted to include as many as possible to make this book available for everyone, so we settled on 50. Yup, you read that correctly – 50 breeds!
Don’t have a breed at home, but a cute little mixed rascal? Some of us here at Hooray Heroes do too. That’s why you’ll be able to customize a mixed breed as well, based on the body type of your dog and their fur color.

This custom book for dogs is written from your dog’s perspective, capturing the special moments, playful adventures, and deep bond you share. We quizzed all dog owners we could and collected the top 18 stories most dogs could have in a book about them. These include begging for food, stealing your spot on the couch, following you around, being jealous, and more!
Once the poems were written by Ryan, Jeremy, our storyboard artist, sketched the stories. When the sketches were confirmed, Jeremy color blocked it. Then, our rendering artists took over and do their magic with colors, rim lights and shading.
We’re adding new breeds every few days because our goal is to make sure every good boy and girl gets to be the star of their very own book!
