How Did We Do It?

First, we chose the breeds. We wanted to include as many as possible to make this book available for everyone, so we settled on 50. Yup, you read that correctly – 50 breeds! Don’t have a breed at home, but a cute little mixed rascal? Some of us here at Hooray Heroes do too. That’s why you’ll be able to customise a mixed breed as well, based on the body type of your dog and their fur color.

This custom book for dogs is written from your dogs’ perspective. We quizzed all dog owners we could and collected top 18 stories that we feel most dogs could have in a book about them. These include begging for food, stealing your spot on the couch, following you around, being jealous, and more!

Once the poems are written by our author, Ryan, Jeremy, our storyboard artist, sketches the stories. When our sketches are confirmed, Jeremy color blocks it. Then, our rendering artists take over and do their magic with colors, rim lights and shading.
