Merry Christmas, Mason! Welcome to your surprise,
We hope you’re so excited that you won’t believe your eyes.
Because in this book, oh boy oh boy, this is THE BEST by far,
We all have a role to play, but Mason? You're the star!

We’ll take you on a journey from the North Pole to the sky,
From adventures under the deep, blue sea to mountains oh so high.
But the greatest joy of all, Mason, in any sort of weather,
Is CHRISTMASTIME when everyone spends quality time together.

And every time you read this book, every time you take a peek,
Remember our Christmastime together, it really is UNIQUE .

Mason, guess what, it’s Christmastime! It’s been an amazing week,
But what’s behind Door 24? Well, open me up and take a peek.
Hahaha, that tickles so much! Mason, you’re making me giggle,
Your fingers are such little wiggly worms I have to wriggle and jiggle!

In fact, I haven’t stopped wriggling all month, because, I’m sure you remember,
You’ve opened a door and tickled me every single day in December!
Thursday, December 12th, now that was a day I’ll never forget,
When you opened that door, I laughed for so long a laughing world record was set!  

Remember when you opened December 2nd? Oh boy, I had tears in my eyes,
I couldn’t stop squirming it tickled so much, and you got a chocolate surprise!
I’m so glad this is the very last door, I’m doing a being-tickled dance,
If there were any more doors to open, I think I would pee my pants!

It’s great Christmas Day is here, Mason, this was getting out of control,
Although I have developed six- pack abs as the laughter’s taken its toll.
So come on then, stop wiggling those fingers, make that door open wide,
I not only want the tickling to stop, I want to know what’s inside!

Chitter chatter chitter chatter,
Chatter chitter chat!
Look at this AMAZING tree!
You really can’t beat that!

We squirrels love trees, Mason,
For reasons one, two, three!
The first is that they give us nuts
Which are as tasty as can be!

Not only that, reason two
Makes us do high-fives.
Because trees are our home!
There’s nowhere better
For us squirrels to live our lives.

But what really makes us chatter
Is that trees are great places to play.
So chitter chatter with us, Mason,
And be thankful for trees every day.
