Did you fill your day with things to do?
Did you RUN and jump and laugh and play?

Every day and week and month and year
Is yours to fill with joy and good cheer. 
But to be able to do things at your best,
You need something very important – rest. 

Now, you may not sleep as long as me,
Because I sleep for all of winter, you see. 
Relaxing and sleeping are so good for your mind, 
And your body as well, I think you will find.

So, play all day as much as you like,
Play games, go swimming, ride your bike.
Then head to bed, tuck yourself in tight,
