1. 9 GAME CHANGING DATES IN THE HISTORY OF HOORAY HEROES
Since the founding of the company in Slovenia in 2013 by two close friends, Mic Melansek and Rado Daradan, Hooray Heroes has experienced steady growth. From a simple "handcrafted" book to a vast collection of more than 40, we can put the increasing popularity of our publishing house down to our core creative team of 15, which includes our in-house author, illustrators, designers and more.
Our English-speaking markets currently include the United States, Canada, the UK and Australia and account for 49% of all books sold since the expansion to these markets began in 2018. This department consists of a native English-speaking Communications Manager, a Customer Care Team of language experts, proof-readers, and localization professionals.
And that’s it! To date, our books have both made more than 3 million readers laugh and moved them to (happy) tears worldwide, including famous names like Khloé Kardashian, David Beckham, and Gigi Hadid just to name a few!

It is for this very reason that we select only top-quality materials for the creation of our products and print our books on thick heavyweight paper, which is harder to tear and stands up against the enthusiastic hands of our youngest readers. The glues and inks that are used in the creation of our printed products are also top-notch and ensure that, following each book’s full drying time of 2 days, all of our books will be long-lasting.
All of the Hooray Heroes books available in Canada are printed at our print house in the UK. All three guarantee the highest standards and subject our products to rigorous quality control checks.

Making your book truly unique is easy as pie for Hooray Heroes! How do we do it? By allowing you to customize your character’s eyes (colour and shape), hair (colour and style), beard (colour and style), moustache (colour and style), skin colour, accessories (glasses and freckles) and even the breed and coat of your pet (in our pets book).
As if that weren’t enough, you can also select the stories that will be in your book as well as the order they will appear in and you also have the opportunity to write your own dedication (or choose from one of our pre-written ones). All of these options guarantee that by the end of the process, your book will be one of a kind.
