Each year, as the festive season approaches, it becomes an annual tradition to don our finest Christmas jumpers, if only for a brief moment. However, this year, instead of purchasing one, why not embark on a creative endeavor by crafting your very own festive jumper using one from your existing collection?

Where does the Christmas jumper craze come from?
In some families, the Christmas jumper has become a real gift tradition or lifestyle trend during holidays. But where does it come from? The custom began in Anglo-Saxon countries in the middle of the 20th century. Hand-knitted or personalised jumpers with reindeer, Santas, elves or snowmen were placed under the tree.
Since 2011, every 3rd Friday in December has been 'International Ugly Sweater Day', a chance to get out your specially bought or customised Christmas jumper. And because we love the idea of transforming your normal jumper into a Christmas jumper, we've come up with a fun tutorial for you to follow.
