When it comes to kids, they’re so much fun to be around because they’re so unpredictable. We might not realize it on a day-to-day basis, but they’re absorbing so much from the world around them. So each milestone they cross can come as a shock or a surprise. And our personalized book, Hooray Jeremy! You Did It!, is all about celebrating your kiddo’s firsts.
But when we were writing it, we envisioned more traditional milestones. So we decided to ask Reddit what were some of the funniest or most surprising milestones their kiddos crossed. And the answers were, to put it mildly, HILARIOUS! There are a few that we can’t share here, but just get ready to laugh till you cry!

So, to begin, let’s start with an easy one. Most parents agree that the sweetest thing they’ve ever heard was their baby laughing for the first time. In fact, we’ve included it in Hooray, Jeremy! You Did It! But this thread takes a turn at the end.
TAKING PRANKS TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Next up, we’ve got a milestone that could come straight out of Hooray Jeremy! You Did It! In this book, you can choose from five sidekicks to accompany your kiddo along the way. One of them, Rascal Raccoon, is a prankster with a heart of gold. So hats off to metalspaghetti’s daughter!
A MILESTONE TO REMEMBER
But the milestone that really got us laughing, especially the thread that started after it, this one really takes the cake. Bear in mind that Reddit can be a snarky and sarcastic place, in fact we even wrote another blog about it, but this was just too good to leave out. Enjoy!
