What’s the most important lesson your dad has ever taught you?
I’ve learned a lot of things from my father, but I’d have to say the one lesson he’s taught me is that no one is better or worse than anyone else. We are all the same, no matter where they come from, what they look like, or how much or how little they have. Everyone deserves your respect, so always assume that the people in front of you are the most important people in the world, and they deserve your time, your attention, and your respect.

If your dad could dress up as anything or anyone for Halloween, what would he go for?
He’d probably go with a younger version of himself… Probably somewhere between his late 20s and early 30s. He’s always going on about how those were THE times, and if he could, he’d do it again ten times over.

What’s the one thing your dad silently approves of that you mom finds to be unacceptable?
Any time my Dad heard anything remotely sarcastic come out of my mouth, he would stay silent as my Mom gave me the evil eye and congratulate me when she was out of ear-shot!

Everyone’s dad is their superhero at some point. What was your dad’s superpower?
My dad’s superpower is that he manages to be there all the time, even if we live very far away. He knows how to solve small problems or big ones, and with time I realized that I can talk to him about anything… and he WILL ALWAYS find a way to help me out…! it’s a mystery how he does that -even when I am abroad he manages to find someone he knows there who can help me out if I am in trouble, he never failed.

My dad’s hidden talent is that he can measure an exact amount of water or milk needed without measuring it.
